Re: GigAlarm and Windows 8.1

...re-reading your EMail....

Autostart can't change your time. You must be referring to the timesync feature.

Re: GigAlarm and Windows 8.1

Hello! Actually GigAlarm hasn't got any critical issues with Win10, least of all autostart. I use GigAlarm on every machine in the house, with ... rare.. crashes. So please don't say it's not tested. I do think it has stability issues, but no more than many other programs. Why does it say "Win7...

Re: Help Menu and Refugee Alarms and Perm Delete

1. Help shows the ReadMe.htm file. It's on the site if for some reason it's missing. 2. "Refugee" alarms are normally things like delete-after alarms that didn't get deleted as the computer was shut down before the time. 3. There is no permanent delete. It would actually be easy to add, bu...

Re: Egg 1.6

There's a Egg 1.61 on the Beta page. It's just a minor fix.

Sad to say the whole v1.9 plan has dragged on longer that I intended so minor bugs will be fixed based on the old code pending the 1.9 update.

Re: iTimeSync

Hi, We have been using iTimeSync for some time and this has been working in the background with no issues until the beginning of January. As of the 10th Jan this has just stopped working and after looking into this it seems that this is just trying to connect using the 'Time' protocol but we need t...

Re: Proper Method for Contacting AcapSoftware

One thing I notice missing from the ACAP Software Web site is a way of contacting somebody for support, questions, etc. Is this forum the only method of doing the above? I assume there is no phone number for customer support. How about an Email address for general customer support questions? There ...

Re: New Installation from XP to WIN 7

It's quite easy actually. To show the directory you open the "About" window by the "About" button, select "Prog Dirs" from the selection box at the bottom and press "Open Dirs". Everything in the folder that doesn't have "GigAlarm.exe" in it are user...

Re: Break - How to reset work time??

This is a feature not a fault!

Each work type has a maximum time per day set by default. To change this...

Right click icon ->Time Display... -> Right click work type -> Edit WORK NAME -> Max Time (Min)

Re: Break - stop window pop up?

...I've been testing this. With the latest version on default settings it does not do as you say. My best guess is that you have it set to run nothing or an invalid file. To investigate further I'll need more information.

CNET sux

Yeah it does. But I'm getting ahead of myself. We've always prided ourselves... OK, myself, on how compact our programs are. While this is no longer the primary focus as in today's terms anything under 1MB is tiny, we've always been against app bundling for three main reasons; 1. Size; it increases ...

iTimeSync 1.9

iTimeSync 1.9 is on the site ! This is mostly internal tweaks as part of our complete re-release of all programs, but it is an essential upgrade as some base settings are no longer valid. For this reason we are skipping the usual one-week-beta rule as quite simply the existing version didn't work a...

Re: Request for a small util

How different to any of our existing programs would this be? This sounds like something completely unique... and thus time consuming... and thus potentially expensive. In any case I'd need further details to give a yay or nay.
