Chop: Output files unreadable

I chopped some video files with Chop but they now have the extension of "chp" and they load Chop instead of my usual viewer. I tried to solve this by restoring the extension but the viewer said that the file was corrupted.

Suggestions?

DLL Hell?

What DLLs / packages need to be installed for your programs? For example, the .NET Framework, VBRun, C++ Runtime... that kind of stuff.

Thanks! I tested it out and it all worked as advertised. If you decide you don't like the new version, the old un-upgraded database is preserved in a file called "sGigDatPrv.lbf". Thus to go back to the old version you close GigAlarm, delete the "dGigAlm.dat" and "sGigAlm.da...

GigAlarm: Upgrade to 1.34 problems

Hello! I've been using GigAlarm 1.282 for about three years but the Away Mode function of 1.33 caught my eye. So I dowloaded the latest version, v1.34, and upgraded. But nothing works! It tells me "Unable to open or create database" and none of my alarms are shown.

What should I do?

GigAlarm: Sytem freeze/slowdown caused by too many windows

I have set a repeating alarm with a period of 1-60 minutes and I find that if I leave the computer on overnight I can find the sytem slow or even un-responsive when I return. The problem seems to happen even if I hibernate the computer.

Egg: Multiple Timers?

Looking at the screenshots of Egg, for example...

Image

...you are supposed to be able to show 2, 3 or 4 timers at once. However I can only see one. Is there an Egg Plus version or something?

Egg: Missing Features!

I just installed Egg but I think in my hurry to use the program I just may have clicked on "OK" for an option to use a "simple" mode! But now I can't do half of what Egg is supposed to be able to do!

Flash drive support

If I run a program, such as Egg, from a flash drive will it save settings on the flash drive or on the local computer? I want to be able to run Egg while on other computers and not have to set it up each time. I don't want to have to install it everywhere either.

Just call me the question man!

Hi! I'm Mister E! I love to ask questions, especially on this forum, as that way when a question is answered it is answered for many users, instead of just one. That way ACAPsoft have more time to actually write software instead of just answering the same questions everyday!
