The first line of the ReadMe answers this question; This compact program is for splitting large files (including ones larger than 4 GB) down to the byte level for easier distribution. The key line is for easier distribution . When Chop was written USB Flash drives didn't exist and for most people 1....

Is the "Warn" or "CutOff" setting on for the alarm? You find this setting on the "Main" page of the Alarm Details window (via the combo box in the top right that normally says "Summary"). Look in the "Action" box and see if "Cutoff" or &quo...

Yes, I do remember you well and yes I do prefer support to be handled here as then I can (hopefully) answer questions once and once only leaving more actual programming time! The was a problem that I noted in Vista which was tracked down to being caused by changes in the file change notification sys...

Say I have an alarm which is repeated every hour on the hour and I am away from my computer all morning until 10:57 AM. At that time the alarm will display "Next Repeat: 1 Hours" even though the actual repeat is just a few minutes away at 11:00 AM. It would be nice if the alarm displayed ...

JukeBx 1.4 Beta 6

This version adds an auto shutdown function. The idea is that if you use JukeBx on a computer set to auto-play, you can just press "P", which will pause, build a new list, and then shutdown the computer. Please note that if you've been using the Beta this feature will probably be on by def...

The current Beta has an option called "Auto-Rate". Currently it does nothing... but it will! Implementing the feature has been harder than expected. The feature itself is easy, but the updates themselves require access to the DB roughly every 4 minutes. This is a problem as we've been tryi...

2000 Days of Break!

Today was my 2000th day of logging work with Break ! It has come a long way since I first started using it; at first the work log function was just on or off, but soon work types were added, targets, micro breaks... now it has a near unlimited number of work types and even auto target! The funny thi...

We're back working on JukeBx; it's been too long between versions! Delays have been caused by the need to test some of the advanced new functions. In particular, the Network function has been enhanced so the entire list of songs can be buffered locally. This feature came in handy during our recent m...

Nothing. Everything needed is in the download file. The programs themselves are 100% self contained, only things like ReadMe files, translation files and tool-bar graphic are not in the exe file... and often we integrate that as well! Many other small programs by other developers require additional ...

As is says in the ReadMe... If GigAlarm is already installed and it is a version after 1.2 then you will to install Version 1.303 first if you want to use your old alarm database. For versions after 1.3 it is OK to install on top. Since you're running a version prior to 1.3 you need to upgrade your ...

How is your progress on JukeBx? Not good sorry to say. We're in the last stages of a (physical) move, so not much programming has been going on for weeks. I have found your beta version here http://acapsoft.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=83#p171 - JukeBx 1.4 Beta 3 Does it includes an autorate ...

Sorry, GigAlarm doesn't have a repeat like that yet.

The obvious method to emulate that function is to set a repeat every four weeks starting on the last Wednesday of a month. It'll be right most of the time, but early and need "re-calibrating" occasionally.

It has been released! Version 1.2 of Ute can be downloaded here. This is a revision release with the added feature of a Backup function.

(This is a late announcement; in all the excitement of the move we forgot to mention it here... :-$ )
