Re: Using Old Registration Files

Siegfried, By "registration details" do you mean that you want me to send copies of the registration files -or - do you want me to send the details of my purchase; e.g., scanned pages of the invoices (date purchased and price paid)? Tom //  Nothing that extreme. I mostly need the reg...

Re: Egg 1.56 forgets its setting sometimes

When it forgets it starts in black and white mode with 5 minutes default as a small window in the middle of my desktop doing no further action. (There is no welcome message shown) Ta. That means it hasn't lost the file, it's "just" corrupted. I do not know if it requires re-registration, ...

It's hard for me to offer definite help; I'm in Australia and you're in the UK and I don't know what kind of network you're running through. What I can do is confirm that the servers work for me (which they do) and point you to this list of NTP time servers . There are at least ten servers there tha...

Yeah, this isn't the first time it's happened. I'll look into this; if need be I'll create a "new" version that should have a different signature.

Tested your v1.35 Beta 3 - and the "unmute" and "set volume" functions are working properly here. (a thought for a future versions - give us the ability to set the volume percentage ourselves) Thanks for testing it and yes, that will happen in the next version. There's a few way...

The exchange rate is (way) up again, so we're considering upping prices. $15 for the larger programs is probable.

GigAlarm 1.35 Beta 2

As per this conversion we'll try to add a de-mute function to this version as well. Done. We've added options to Details->Extra to turn the mute off or set the volume to about 80%. These features should work correctly on all OSes. (Volume control was massively changed, for the better, in Vista.) Yo...

I've got something working that can do much the same as nircmd.exe, but like nircmd.exe it needs the Compatibility mode enabled to work on the master volume for Vista and later. I'm working on a Vista+ solution now.

That's a nice workaround, and it's one of the major reasons why the multiple actions function was added. I do agree that a unmute/change volume function would be useful and I'll make it a priority for the next version. (One is currently in progress so it can be part of that.) It's important to note ...

Thanks for your suggestions. As it turns out both more preset timers and more keyboard controls has been a common request. Secs is due for an expansion soon so I'll see what can be done!

Egg 1.6 Beta 1

The new beta of Egg can be downloaded here! It's mostly an internal revision but it does add a "wake" ability.

It's scheduled to be released on the 13th if we don't add any more features.
