Egg 1.56 forgets its setting sometimes

Postby heliumd » Wed Sep 14, 2011 8:09 pm

Hello,
i use Egg over a year day by day. It starts with Windows XP Professional and does its job, mostly.
But sometimes (about once a month), i am unsure about the cause(s), at first sight due to no cause at all, it starts
brainwashed, with obvious no access to the previous settings, leaving me with the tedious task
to define appearance and values again again...

However i am happy with it, and it is one of this programms i can no longer be without albeit i
wish there could be less friction.

And yes i tried newer version 1.60 too, but that shows this character more often, it seems, so i switched back to 1.56.

Best wishes.

Noted. Investigating...

EDIT: Does it come up with the welcome message? Does it need to be re-registered?

When it forgets it starts in black and white mode with 5 minutes default
as a small window in the middle of my desktop doing no further action.
(There is no welcome message shown)

I do not know if it requires re-registration, behind ABOUT the registration
window opens and shows my name; So i think i do not need to re-registrate. :?:

Thanks for your help.

Ta. That means it hasn't lost the file, it's "just" corrupted.
