iTimeSync 1.5 Beta 3

Postby Siegfried » Sat Mar 07, 2009 12:58 pm

The next revision we have planned is for iTimeSync. Depending on what is done, it'll either be v1.5 or v1.41, we haven't decided yet. Thus if you have any ideas or problems please send them our way or post them here!

Siegfried wrote:It has been decided that the next version of iTimeSync (aside from any bug fix versions) will be v2.0. Please note that iTimeSync 1.x codes will not work in iTimeSync 2.x. Any one who registered after March 08 or is a Site license holder will receive free new codes upon request. Other uses might be eligible for upgrade discounts.

This is what we said when we released the last version of iTimeSync... but we've changed our mind. In short, we've decided that it's better to make an investment in good feelings rather than take upgrade fees. Thus this version will have the new code system, but it'll be a free upgrade.

The new beta of iTimeSync v1.5 can be downloaded now. It's main feature is the addition of a RFC-2030 server, but there are many other small tweaks. It needs a lot more testing so there's no set release date yet.

This version uses the new code system.

After testing we did some tweaks of the beta of iTimeSync v1.5 so the new server worked better with other software. We still want to do more tests so no date yet...

A new beta of iTimeSync v1.5 is ready. We've done a lot of testing and tweaking so this should be the last. It's due to be released on the 18th.
